What you need:
1 cup white or whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup honey
1 package white meat chicken lunch meat
1/2 cup dry dog food (garnish)
1 can any canned dog food (I used liver but you can use any kind)
2 pieces of uncooked bacon
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
Mix together flour and baking soda. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a ring mold sprayed with a nonstick spray. Bake for approximately 40 minutes.
Once cake is cool, frost cake with the canned dog food then cover the whole cake with the chicken slices. Take the bacon and used it to wrap the base of the cake. Then you can use the dry dog food to spell their names.
Store in refrigerator for up to one week.
*I created this recipe but got the recipe for the peanut butter cake part from Dog Treat Recipe Exchange.
